man take LR over whirling... lr is up longer percentaewise than whirling will ever be... it has a faster recharge.. and you really only need 11s to gtfo otherwise go uninstall if you dont want to put points into ws for ns
but yea scythe ranger aka bunny reaper or whatever you wish to call it does mass dmg too.. bring reapers sweep and its like gg whatever along with crippling victory and ermites |

In one minute you can active NS a total of 5 times, it will last a total of 30 seconds for 25 energy (15 energy taking into account Expertise). So actually from 60 seconds you would get a longer duration from NS and its not hard to run a 10 exp, 10 WS build. In fact its quite common. I suppose its really down to your personal preference, but for me WD feels like it constricts me and I would pick NS's versatility any day. |

You seem to miss the point that you still need to invest heavily in Wilderness Survival to make NS work a bit while Expertise is an attribute you'll normally invest in anyway.
This thread - and question - specifically is about a ranger + pet for PvE and committing points in Wilderness Survival just to get 4-5 sec worth of 50% block is not likely the best option available in defense. You can not separate the skill from the bar. |
